CONTEXT

Project Context

The legacy GRDF SIAG, built up over the years, presented an inconsistent and poorly designed UX on the gas connection process, a source of data entry errors and frustration for the 3,800 national agents.

UI changes reached production over several weeks, with no accessibility tests or security quality gates: operational and regulatory risks accumulating over time.

The challenge: to redesign 14 screens in SAP Fiori 3 with a harmonised UX and a native DevSecOps pipeline, and to industrialise the connection workflow to dramatically reduce processing times and errors.

Redesign the user experience of the gas connection process across 14 screens modernised in SAP Fiori 3, with a harmonised UX for the 3,800 national agents.

UX audit and scoping

An in-depth UX audit of the existing screens, workshops with field agents, and formalisation of the target journeys according to the SAP Fiori 3 guidelines and the GRDF visual identity.

Development of the 14 screens in SAPUI5 + OData v4, with reusable components, native accessibility (RGAA) and complete visual harmonisation across the whole connection journey.

Automation of the connection workflow transitions (scheduling, alerts, acceptance), with configurable business rules and automatic notification of agents and customers.

CI/CD DevSecOps

A CI/CD pipeline with SAST (SonarQube), DAST (OWASP ZAP), blocking accessibility tests (axe-core) and automated code reviews: quality becomes a quality gate, not a final step.

Agent coaching

Training of the 3,800 national agents on the new UI, creation of video tutorials and change support to limit onboarding friction.
